Today we greeted the new Peace Corps Volunteers who arrived at Belize Airlines in Belize City. There were only 38 new volunteers who arrived 2 already backed out. One fell in love with Hatii and stayed there to help out. The other one got on the flight and then turned back around.
We had dinner at the Belmopan Hotel, which was very nice. Then we went back to the Garden City Hotel and bonded with all the new bees!!!
They seem like a great group though. I got to talk to a few of them that night in the Garden City; however, I regret some of the things I said because I was venting about all my host family problems and issues. Well… its real life here in Peace Corps.
